New partnership with mobility group Transdev and expansion of the cooperation with Eurolines

or the customers of Postbus, Transdev and Eurolines, the partnerships will mean convenient travel from 22 German cities to Paris, Strasbourg and seven additional cities in France.

• Postbus and Eurolines step up their cooperation by offering additional daytime and overnight connections between Germany and France, including a new line serving Düsseldorf-Cologne-Paris
• New partnership between Postbus and French mobility group Transdev with its long-distance bus company isilines enables bus connections from 22 German cities to nine destinations in France via Paris or Strasbourg
• Single ticketing for Postbus and Eurolines customers

As of December 15, 2015 Postbus will boost its offer to customers on the long-distance bus market in France, which was liberalized in August of this year. The existing cooperation with Deutsche Touring GmbH, operator of the international coach network Eurolines, is significantly expanded. At the same time, a partnership with the French mobility group Transdev and its new long-distance bus company isilines is launched. For the customers of Postbus, Transdev and Eurolines, the partnerships will mean convenient travel from 22 German cities to Paris, Strasbourg and seven additional cities in France.

As a new connection between the Postbus and isilines networks, a new Postbus line is introduced in mid-December between Düsseldorf, Cologne and Paris. From the French capital, Postbus travelers can then take advantage of the isilines domestic bus network in France, including connections to Auxerre and Lyon, Tours, Angers and Nantes as well as overnight service to Bordeaux and Bayonne. In addition, the existing Postbus line from Berlin to Strasbourg (via Halle, Jena, Erfurt, Frankfurt, Mannheim and Karlsruhe) will be connected to an isilines overnight service from Strasbourg to Paris (Wednesday through Sunday). Also new is the Eurolines / Postbus cooperation service from Münster, Dortmund, Essen, Düsseldorf, Cologne, Aachen to Paris. This comes in addition to an existing Eurolines connection between Paris and Duisburg, Braunschweig, Hannover, Frankfurt, Darmstadt, Mannheim, Saarbrücken, Munich, Augsburg, Ulm and Stuttgart that can already be booked through Postbus.

Postbus and Eurolines customers can book their travel between Germany and France on a single ticket via the Postbus or  Eurolines websites. Tickets can also be purchased at some 12,000 Deutsche Post postal outlets and in 11 Eurolines ticket centers (plus 20 key accounts and 2,000 additional agencies). Travel can also booked by telephone (Deutsche Post: +49 (0)1806 972797* (*20 euro cents per call from German landline networks; max. 60 cents per call from German cellular/wireless networks); Eurolines: +49 (0)6196-2078-501) as well as via various bus and mobility portals, tour operators (e.g. DERTOUR) and tourism offices. Last-minute travelers can also purchase tickets for immediate travel directly on board from their Postbus driver.
